Meghan Cooley is a cofounder of Paradigm Dance Project (PDP). She
received her Master of Fine Art in modern dance from the University of
Utah, where she received the Dee R. Winterton Award for excellence in
the field of dance. Meghan earned a Bachelor of Art cum laude from
Wellesley College and a Master of Science from the University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill. While completing undergraduate and graduate
studies, Meghan danced with the Wellesley College Dancers, UNC's
Modernextension, and the U of U's Performing Dance Company. She was a
member of Mixed Metaphor Movement Company and performed with Dance South
Repertory in North Carolina. At present, Meghan is choreographing,
performing, and teaching with PDP, as well as pursuing creative
endeavors with other independent artists and organizations. Meghan
teaches dance through the Virginia Tanner Creative Dance Program and
Repertory Dance Theatre's Community School. She has extensive teaching
experience, sharing dance with a wide range of dancers including
disabled children and adults, elderly populations, amputee patients,
junior high school teachers, and traditional dance students. She and her
partner, Andy, live in Salt Lake City, Utah with their two dogs, Loulou
and Odin.
